“Teak & Kate” Two peas in a pod! Sweet, Adorable, Loving Long Haired Dachshunds. They are a pleasure to care for!! Teak and Kate are siblings from two different litters! Which explains why they are inseparable!! They are about a year apart. They move in harmony and intertwine with one another like a pretzel!!! They are so much fun to watch. They are extremely affectionate. Great lap dogs! The problem is, I need a bigger lap!! I look forward to taking them again because they were not interested in walking very far…As soon as they heard an unfamiliar sound, they headed home, so the pet stroller will come in handy!! Their parents had never left them with anyone before. Needless to say there was a lot of anxiety, not only with the dogs, but also with the parents. To put everyone at ease, I visited a few times before the parents departure. One day, prior to their 13 day visit, I picked up the dogs and took them to my house for a few hours. That seemed to put everyone at ease!! They had a great visit! It was so difficult to see them leave. They are sweet, loving companions.
