Last weekend I took Sunday October 13th off and attended the Pug Festival in Spencer, MA held at the Spencer Fairgrounds. Pugs are such a wonderful breed of dog especially for the “couch potatoes” out there.
With Halloween right around the corner, pug owners dressed their pets in some unique and fun costumes.
It was such a fun event that the Pug Rescue of New England sponsors every year in October. Visit Pug Rescue of New England website to learn more about this great organization.
Note: THIS is the largest fundraiser of the year for PRoNE. Last year we saved 105 pugs, with vet bills that exceeded $55,000. Our adoption fees don’t begin to cover our costs – so this fundraiser is very important to us. Help us to help pugs!
