Charlie is an adorable warm and wonderful 6-7 year old Pug. He is not that interested in going for a structured walk, although he loves to explore every square inch of his surroundings. My plan was to cut through the library and walk to the High School. We got as far as the library grounds and he spent an hour checking out everything and anything that he could find. He was happy running around via his retractable leash. 
Charlie knows what he wants, when he wants it. No apprehension with him. He is the first dog that has ever taken over my side of the bed. He insisted on sleeping against my left side, so I finally gave up and moved to the other side of the bed. I took him for a ride in the car and he stood on the armrest and opened the window! That was a first!! As you can see, he has a string of bells that hang from the door which he rings when he needs to go outside. Too Cute!!
